Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for the management of all types of entity specific quality related information systems. Performs quality review functions through screening and reporting, ensuring follow-through with corrective action and follow up monitoring. Provides consultation in establishing and maintaining systems that support efficient and effective data collection, reporting, and analysis of information managed by the Quality Department. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing care. Demonstrates the knowledge and assessment skills necessary to communicate, educate, and provide a therapeutic and safe environment for specific age groups served. Must be able to respect diversity of each individuals values, culture, spiritual beliefs, and other socio-economic issues in addressing the needs of patients, visitors, and co-workers. Other duties as assigned. Age of Population Served: Infant, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

Requirements:

  • Must have a current Utah RN License.
  • Must have 5+ years RN experience
  • BLS Certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
